PIANO CHAIN for Digitakt II

PIANO CHAIN is a sample/preset pack for Digitakt II.

The pack contains chromatic sample chains of the exact same instrument in varying qualities:

• HiFi: Full quality 48kHz - 46.9MB
• MedFi: Half Quality 24kHz - 23.4MB
• LoFi: Quarter Quality 12kHz - 11.7MB

Based on how much of your RAM you'd like to occupy, you can choose to load one of the presets included.

If you want to load samples and create your own instrument instead, simply follow these steps:

• Load any Piano Chain sample to a slot and assign to a track
• Set the track's Machine to "GRID"
• Set Slice Select mode to NOTE (which should be the default anyways)
• Set GRID count to 64
• Play in Keyboard mode or add trigs, with notes starting from C1 (not C5! This is how Elektron implemented this. Each grid machine's first slice starts from C1, and wraps around in multiplications of the grid size)

NEW: Added 44.1 kHz version to use with Dirtywave M8! There's only one version (HiFi) since unlike Digitakt, you can stream from SD Card and you're not really bound by a "RAM limit".
